This project started out as a straight-forward request to relay a patio, however, as occasionally happens, the customer had a sudden vision for a garden room – and we were only too happy to oblige!
We built the garden room using composite cladding and porcelain tiles. We no longer use felt for roofs as, particularly when underneath trees where the leaves accumulate on the surface, felt tends to become mildewed and rots. Instead, use rubber roofing which carries a 25-year guarantee.
The inside was completely wired for electrics, and we installed a wide-screen TV, surround sound speakers, and multi-coloured changing LED lights. We laid a decorative curved path around the outside for grass-free access.
As a final step, we removed and replaced the old and damaged roof from the adjacent conservatory.
